Disaster Relief Information

Communities throughout Ohio have been affected by the terrible storms and flooding as a result of the Memorial Day storms. Jane and I are keeping the victims of the storms throughout the region in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

In June, President Trump approved Governor DeWine’s request for federal assistance for the following counties: Auglaize, Darke, Greene, Hocking, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Muskingum, Perry, and Pickaway Counties. Additionally, on July 2nd, Mahoning County was added to the declaration.

To access federal assistance I encourage ALL businesses and individuals impacted by the storms to register with FEMA at www.disasterassistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-3362, or by visiting a disaster recovery center near you

Individuals have until August 19th to register for assistance with your home, rental, or personal property. Even if you have private insurance, you may still qualify for assistance. Please contact my Columbus casework office at (614) 469-6774, if you have any questions.
