VIDEO: Portman's Buckeye Build With Habitat for Humanity Leaves Enduring Contribution in Cleveland

This week, Senator Portman joined Habitat for Humanity in a major neighborhood revitalization project known as the Buckeye Build. Taking place in Cleveland’s historic Buckeye neighborhood, Portman and a team of volunteers worked on 17 houses – fully rehabbing two houses and assisting approximately 15 current residents with exterior improvements, such as providing new roofs and attic insulation for five homes.  Portman, who has been involved in dozens of Habitat builds during his time as a public official, helped work on the homes twice over the past week.
