NAPOLEON, OH – Today, U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) visited the Campbell Soup Supply Company in Napoleon, Ohio to meet with company leadership, tour their facilities, and hold a town hall with its employees.

“It was a privilege for me to have a town hall meeting with these Ohio workers today about the issues they are concerned about, like jobs, our burdensome regulatory system, the rising cost of living and health care,” Portman said. “Campbell Soup is a major employer in northwest Ohio and I’m working hard to promote policies that encourage them and companies across Ohio to invest more in these communities and hire more workers.  Too many families continue to face the middle-class squeeze of stagnant wages and an increasing cost of living. That’s why I’m working on pro-growth policies like tax and regulatory reform that will give our economy a shot in the arm by helping employers large and small to invest, grow, and create jobs with better wages for all Americans.”
