Companies Wanting to Assist with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Individuals or businesses looking sell or donate medical supplies, equipment, or services as part of the federal COVID-19 response should visit https://www.fema.gov/coronavirus/how-to-help to connect with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). As described on the website,
- To sell medical supplies or equipment to the federal government, please email specifics to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- If you have medical supplies or equipment to donate, please provide FEMA with details on what you are offering.
- If you are a private company that wants to produce a product related to the COVID response – email email@example.com.
- For non-medical supplies, services or equipment, please submit your inquiry to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Procurement Action Innovative Response Team (PAIR) team at DHSIndustryLiaison@hq.dhs.gov.
Individuals or businesses can also email firstname.lastname@example.org to connect with Governor DeWine’s team regarding Ohio’s efforts to produce or acquire sufficient PPE.
Due to the coronavirus, there is an increased need for blood. You can consider donating blood at the Red Cross by visiting https://www.redcross.org/give-blood.html.
You can find volunteer opportunities through local nonprofits in your community or by visiting https://serve.ohio.gov/Volunteering.
There are many great organizations across Ohio helping address the needs created by this virus. Senator Portman has donated his salary through May to five regional organizations across the state of Ohio helping those impacted.
